Page
A calm, private, text-first Android launcher.
About
Page is a launcher, not a custom ROM: install it like any app and set it as your home screen. The home screen asks one question, what do you need, and offers a short list of actions plus a search and command field. Type is large, icons are off by default, and the theme is a quiet monochrome.
It is built to be audited quickly. The manifest has no internet permission, there is no telemetry or Google Play Services dependency, and settings stay on the device. It is licensed GPL v3.
What it does
Text first
Large type, an alphabetical app list and no icons by default. The home screen asks one question.
Actions, not grids
Phone, Messages, Maps, Books, Notes, Music, Camera, Calendar, Files and Settings each open your chosen companion app.
A search and command bar
Find an app or type a simple command.
Safe fallbacks
If your preferred app is missing, Page falls back to a generic Android intent, and says so if nothing can handle the action.
Private by construction
No internet permission, no analytics or ads, no Google Play Services, and settings stay on the device.
Bring your own apps
A script sets up Page and companion apps over ADB from F-Droid and GitHub releases. An in-app first-run setup is planned.
The Pitch

A phone that asks one question
Page is an early build. The launcher, app search, default actions and settings shortcuts work today.
