From long-form audio to a book plan.
About
Longformer is a book planner. You add sources, such as audio, video, text and documents or the episodes of a podcast feed, and it proposes a chapter outline: a title, a summary and the sources each chapter draws on.
Today it is a working front end on a mock backend. The upload, feed import and chapter screens exist; transcription, AI planning and export to DOCX, EPUB, PDF and Markdown are designed but not built.
What it does
Upload or import
Drop audio, video, text or documents, or paste a podcast RSS feed and pick episodes. The screens exist; the server side is simulated.
Plan chapters
The planner turns the chosen sources into chapters, each with a title, a summary and the sources it draws on. The mock returns the same three chapters every time.
Edit the plan
The planner store can rename, add, remove and reorder chapters. There is no editing screen yet.
Export
The data model knows DOCX, EPUB, PDF and Markdown. Nothing builds a file yet.
Transcription and AI
Planned. No transcription or AI code exists in the repository yet.
